At Mindfulness with Helen, we offer simple, calming mindfulness courses to help you find peace amidst the chaos. These sessions are all about learning how to slow down, breathe, and take life one moment at a time. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, or just looking for a way to relax, you'll find a space here to pause and reconnect. No experience with mindfulness or meditation is needed - just come as you are. We'll guide you through gentle practices that can make a big difference in how you handle the ups and downs of life. What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present and engaged in the current moment, with a non-judgmental awareness of one's thoughts, feelings, and surroundings.

It involves paying attention to experiences as they unfold, without reacting impulsively or being overwhelmed by them.

The goal is to cultivate a sense of calm, clarity, and acceptance.

Mindfulness Techniques

Focused breathing: Paying attention to your breath as it flows in and out.
Body scanning: Noticing sensations in
different parts of the body.
Observing thoughts: Acknowledging thoughts as they arise without getting caught up in them.
Non-judgmental awareness: Accepting whatever arises in your mind without
labelling it as good or bad.
The above techniques can also be
applied during daily life activities, such as eating, walking, or even working.

Busy minds

A busy mind is something we all experience, especially in today’s fast-paced world.

It’s like having a radio constantly tuned to static - thoughts buzzing around, one after another, sometimes overlapping, rarely pausing. With mindfulness, the goal isn't to stop those thoughts but to bring awareness to them without getting caught up in the noise.

One-on-One Virtual Mindfulness (8 week course)

Receive personalised guidance in a one-on-one setting.  This is an 8 week course, 1 hour each week.

These private sessions are tailored to your specific goals—whether you're managing stress, anxiety, depression, or looking to cultivate a deeper sense of inner peace.

Sessions are held via video call, allowing you to connect from anywhere in the world.

Live Group Mindfulness Classes (1 hour)

Join our live, interactive group meditation classes online. Practice mindfulness in a supportive community from the comfort of your own home.
Each class focuses on different mindfulness techniques, from breathwork to body scans, helping you cultivate calm and relaxation
in daily life. 

Classes are limited to 8 participants.  You can book 1 hour sessions at a time, if you wish to learn more, you can book more sessions.

Self-Paced Mindfulness Course

For those who need flexibility, we offer a self-paced online course that you can access at your convenience. These courses provide structured lessons and guided meditations, allowing you to work at your own pace while deepening your mindfulness practice.

One to One Virtual Classes - Find Your Calm with Mindfulness Ready to take a break from the daily hustle? Join us for one hour each week over eight weeks, right from the comfort of your own home on Zoom. In these sessions, you’ll learn to pause, breathe and truly be present, one moment at a time.  You will learn the basis of mindfulness including awareness, compassion and love & kindness. At each session, we’ll introduce simple but powerful techniques to help you handle life’s ups and downs with a little more calm.  

Whether stress, anxiety, or the daily grind has you feeling off-balance, this is your space to reconnect and find ease. No prior mindfulness experience is needed—just come as you are.  Let’s make mindfulness part of your weekly routine!

Live Group Mindfulness Class 1 hour Experience mindfulness from home in a warm, supportive setting. The live, interactive classes offer simple, effective techniques like breathwork, body scans, and guided meditation, all designed to help you find calm and balance in daily life. Whether you're aiming to reduce stress, improve focus, or take a mindful break, the sessions suit all levels. With small class sizes (maximum 8 participants), you’ll enjoy a close-knit, attentive experience.  Choose 1-hour sessions but if you wish to go deeper, you can book more sessions - it’s your journey, at your pace.  Let’s create a space where you can relax, grow, and reconnect.
